Favorite Character Pairing

There's a lot of pairings out there, ranging from Pikachu x Buneary, Sonic x Amy, Tails x Wave, Klonoa x Tat, and who knows what else? So, what are your favorite couple pairings?

For me, I have way too many favorites. I suppose, if everyone got only one person, I would want them to be like this: Sonic x Blaze, Tails x Wave, Knuckles x Rouge, Shadow x Amy, Klonoa x Tat and so on.

In the Sonic Archie Universe, I'd have to say Knux x Julie-Su, Sonic x Sally, and Tails x Mina. I have yet to read the rest of the series.
In Sonic X however, my views are slightly different, especially in the case of Tails, whom I would like him paired up with Cosmo. Otherwise, I would pair up Knux x Rouge and Sonic x Amy.
In the case of Shadow however, as much as a Shadow fangirl I am, I don't see myself with him. Along with his immortality deal, I don't think he really wants to be with anyone with fear of losing them, which is why I think he pushes people away. And deep down, I think he doesn't want to screw up like he did with Maria and protecting her.

Well I personally have to say I think the best pairing would have to Be sonic and shadow there are so many variation of the couple where Sonic is more the girl and Shadow is more the girl but i never really know to say who the "girl" of the couple should be
