GENERAL RULES

1. The main rules that you should already know are treat others the way you want to be treated. Please be nice to everyone and just try to have fun with what you do. A girl friend of mine once told me that what you role-play isn't the same as who you are. So, if you're role-playing an evil person, don't take it personally.

2. This site doesn't really have any ratings, so feel free to do what you want, as long as it's not trolling, bashing, excessive sex or abuse, cursing or stuff like that.

ROLE-PLAY RULES

1. In the MAIN role-play, not the side ones, please post a character application first. This will help with everything down the road.

2. Don't just think everyone will look over your applications, so make sure you introduce your character in the first few paragraphs of the MAIN role-play.

3. It's been a problem to me before when it involves taking control of other characters. Look at these for examples of what is okay and what isn't okay:

"Josh climbed up a tree, wondering where to find some food, and Shadow climbed up with him." - This is not allowed; you cannot take control of another person's character, no matter what you want them to do.

"Josh climbed up a tree, wondering where to find food, and then looked down to see if Shadow wanted to climb up as well." - This is normal role-playing, since there's no control over the other person's character.

"Josh was a bit annoyed that no one was listening to him, so he grabbed Shadow by the hand and dragged him up the tree with him." - This is allowed, because it's non-direct controlling of another person's character.

4. For the main role-play, please only use one main character. However, you ARE allowed to make an extra account or two if you want to add more that way. Be aware that you'd then have to control all of them with different accounts.

5. Try not to post twice in a row; wait until someone else has a turn, to make it fair. You can always edit your post if there was something you didn't want in there or if you forgot something.

6. Although script form is nice, please only do it in the side role-plays and not the main one. For the main role-play, please do paragraph form. If you don't know the difference, look at these examples:

Script form:

Josh: *walked down the beach, frowning in annoyance about the lack of discipline surrounding him* I seriously wonder how these people were born!

Paragraph form:

The cat walked down the beach, frowning in annoyance about the lack of discipline surrounding him. He seriously wondered how these people were born, but he didn't say anything about it, not wanting to hurt other peoples' feelings. However, in the back of his mind, he wasn't really happy about this.

7. When you want to move from one place to another (for example, from the starting point to Joliant), please make a transition statement, such as: [Josh enters Joliant].
